| The Head of School (HoS) is key in improving a school's environment and overall student learning. Effective Montessori schools have dynamic educational leaders who are knowledgeable about Montessori instruction and experienced with management. These individuals inspire teachers, ensure student success and lead within the educational community. The Institute of Montessori Education’s HoS Network is committed to foster membership and provide value-adding services. |

HoS Network Goals:
- Promote Montessori schools as learning communities that provide excellent learning opportunities for all children;
- Advance professional standards of practice for Montessori HoSs;
- Provide quality developmental experiences, leadership training, information, and support based on common professional needs;
- Sustain a positive impact on legislators, policy makers, communities and other stakeholders to improve the quality of EC education;
- Provide ample opportunities for networking and community.

Head of School Network Benefits:
- Stay in the loop on current events and issues: read and review periodic print and electronic news relevant for administration.
- Advance as a professional: take advantage of professional development seminars, round table chats, workshops and trainings designed specifically for HoSs.
